Track Release -- USAR Pro Cup Series Heads For SoBo

clayrogersburnoutSOUTH BOSTON, Va. (June 2, 2010) -- The USARacing Pro Cup Series, formerly known as the Hooters Pro Cup Series, will invade South Boston Speedway for the first of two appearances in 2010 on Saturday, June 12, for the running of the Strutmasters.com 250.
 
Also scheduled for action on June 12 will be the competitors in the touring Rolling Thunder Modified Series, who will be in action for a 75-lap event.
 
The Rolling Thunder Modified drivers will hit the track first on June 12 at 7 p.m. The 250-lap USARacing Pro Cup Series will get the green flag at the conclusion of the Rolling Thunder Modified event.
 
Clay Rogers will enter the June 12 event at South Boston Speedway as the point leader in the USARacing Pro Cup Series. Caleb Holman sits second in the standings. He trails Rogers by 110 points and is only one point ahead of third-place John Gibson.
 
Jeff Agnew is fourth in the standings and is one point behind Gibson and 32 points ahead of fifth-place Benny Gordon.
 
The USARacing Pro Cup Series will also be in action at South Boston Speedway on Nov. 6, for the running of the USARacing Pro Cup Series Championship 300 presented by Strutmasters.com
