Crane Cams 250 Fast Facts

  • Bobby Gill is the only two-time winner at SNRP in Hooters Pro Cup competition. Gill went to Victory Lane in 2002 and 2006 at the ultra-fast oval.
  • The pole speed has increased 10 mph over the last 10 years at SNRP. Gene Morgan won the pole there in 1997 at 89.921 mph. Last season, Woody Howard shattered the track record by qualifying at 99.979 mph.
  • Track owner Kirk Leone is the only driver to have multiple poles at SNRP. Leone won the Awesome Awnings Pole Award in 2005 and 2006.
  • In seven races at SNRP, only one winner has come from outside the top 10 starting spots. Bobby Gill is the only driver to do it. Gill started 20th in his 2006 win.
  • Clay Rogers holds the record for best average finish of drivers that have made three or more starts. Rogers’ average finish is 4.6.
  • Mark McFarland has made only two starts at SNRP, but he has a win and a second-place finish to show for it.
  • Mario Gosselin holds the record for most laps led by a winner with 180, while Brad Rogers holds the record for least laps led by a winner with 23.
  • Jason Sarvis is the only driver to ever win from the pole at SNRP. In 2003, Sarvis completed the SNRP sweep.
  • The winner has averaged a 7.1 starting position and led 119 laps at SNRP.
  • With just three races remaining, the top eight drivers are separated by just 110 points in the Greased Lightning Southern Division standings.
