  • HPCS Sears Auto Center Northern Division will make its eighth appearance at Mansfield Motorsports Park for the Greased Lighting 250.
  • Benny Gordon has had great success at MMP with three wins and a pole and average finish of 9.66. Gordon is currently tied for third place in points with Matt Carter.
  • Two HPCS drivers have recorded their first win at MMP: Eric Corbett (2003) and Joey Logano (2005).
  • MMP has hosted one of the five HPCS Championship Series events in each of the last three years. Fans can look for this race to be a prelude to the September Championship event with several Southern Division drivers intending to travel north for this event.
  • Current point leader and Ohio native Gary St Amant has a good record at MMP with four top-five finishes and six top-10 finishes, giving him an average finish of 5.5 at MMP.
  • Jody Lavender sits second in the point standings and is coming off an eighth place finish at Madison International Speedway (MIS). Lavender's past two events at MMP were both top-five finishes.
  • Matt Carter heads to MMP tied for third in points, 76 points behind leader Gary St Amant. Carter has finished in the top 10 two of the three times he has competed at MMP.
  • Brandon Ward currently leads the Sears Auto Center Northern Division "Miller Lite Rookie of the Year" standings, 24 points ahead of second place contender Ben Stancill. Both drivers are coming off their best finishes of the season. Ward took second at MIS, while Stancill finished sixth.
  • Jeff Agnew, Shane Wallace, and Benny Gordon all came home with top-10 finishes at Madison after disappointing starts to the 2007 season. All three hope to finish the first half of the Sears Auto Center Northern Division season on a high note with a win at MMP.
