  • Last season, Jack Bailey finished third and he has moved over to Bullet Racing team to pilot the No. 11 this season.
  • Matt Carter and his Travis Carter Motorsports team are coming off a career best third place finish from South Boston. Carter is the former 2004 Miller Lite Rookie of the Year.
  • Derek Kale led 126 laps and was hoping for a rain-shortened Farmer's Foods event at South Boston Speedway. But when the rain stopped, Kale had pit and gave up the lead to race winner Bobby Gill.
