Glover Foods 250 Fast Facts
- Over the past five years, three names you would find at the top of the results from CMP are Shane Huffman, Clay Rogers and Bobby Gill. This year Gill will be flying solo, as Huffman has a full-time ride in the Busch Series and Rogers has moved to the Sears Auto Center Northern Division.
- Last season, Rogers took the win at in the Northern Division opener at South Boston and then went on to win the HPCS Champion. This season Gill, an Aaron's Southern Division competitor, went to South Boston and took the win. Gill now has two third-place finishes and one win. Can he do what Rogers did last season?
- Current point's leader Woody Howard has been on fire in the first two races of the season with a fourth-place finish at USA International and pole and win at South Georgia Motorsports Park (SGMP).
- Michael Ritch is coming off a second-place finish place at SGMP. Ritch has one win to his credit at CMP.
- Dange Hanniford and his Mac Hill Motorsports team are coming off a top-10 finish at SGMP. Hanniford finished seventh at CMP last season.
- Former NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Buckshot Jones will be making his third start in the HPCS. Jones had a quiet run at South Georgia, picking up his first top-10 finish in his HPCS career.
